In 2003, the SIF received the Excellence for Singapore Award from the Singapore Totalisator Board.

The award recognises and honours individuals or organisations that bring credit to Singapore by being among the best in their areas of activity in Asia or the world.

In 2014, the SIF received the President’s Award for Volunteerism in the non-profit category. The award honours those who have excelled in encouraging the spirit of giving in Singaporeans.

The National Arts Council presented the SIF with the Patron of the Arts Award for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016. The award acknowledges our efforts in promoting greater international understanding through arts and culture.


Through Our Better World, we have inspired more than 27 million online views by sharing stories of people doing good in Asia.


More than 120,000 beneficiaries have been positively impacted.


More than 30,000 Friends of Singapore connected to and collaborating with Singaporeans for a better world.


More than 4,000 Singaporeans have volunteered overseas, working alongside local communities to enable sustainable development in 17 countries.


Over the years, we have worked with some 650 partners from across the public, private and people sectors to create greater good.


We have hosted more than 600 thought leaders and decision-makers from 30 countries to exchange insights and perspectives that inspire action.


We have equipped and enabled 480 young social entrepreneurs representing 23 nationalities to start or scale up social enterprises in Singapore and beyond.


About 270 artists and groups have worked with their counterparts in more than 50 countries, exchanging cultural insights to promote greater understanding and deliver on social good.
